How to Wire & Install This Power Supply
- Step 1: Calculate Your Load. Before connecting, determine the total wattage of your LED strips. For optimal performance and safety, your total load should not exceed 80% of the power supply's capacity (160W for this 200W unit).
- Step 2: Connect AC Input. Turn off mains power. Connect your AC line (L) and neutral (N) wires to the corresponding screw terminals on the input side of the power supply. Connect the ground wire (GND) for safety.
- Step 3: Connect DC Output. Connect the positive (+) and negative (-) wires from your DC12V LED strip lights to the V+ and V- terminals on the output side. Ensure correct polarity to avoid damaging your LEDs. Use one or both of the available output channels.
- Step 4: Test the System. Double-check all connections. Restore mains power and turn on the system to verify that your lights are operating correctly.
- This is not a dimmable power supply. To dim lights, a separate PWM dimmer must be installed on the DC output side.
