This 24V addressable DMX RGB LED strip light delivers dynamic color changing using native DMX512 protocol, eliminating the need for intermediary decoders. Built with 60 SMD5050 RGB LEDs per meter inside an extrusion of solid silicone, this IP68 submersible LED strip light provides ingress protection for underwater fountains, pool perimeters, and harsh outdoor architectural facades. Each 100mm section contains 6 LEDs governed by an integrated DMX IC, consuming 3 DMX channels per addressable segment (10 pixels per meter). Application Scenarios
How to Install & Use This LED Strip
- Inspect the LED strip light and test color switching with your DMX512 controller and 24V DC power supply prior to field mounting.
- Cut only along the marked 100mm copper line intervals if sizing is required, and reseal all exposed cuts with neutral-cure silicone and end caps to retain the IP68 rating.
- Connect the 5-pin wiring: 24V DC (+), Ground (-), DMX Data+ (A), DMX Data- (B), and Signal Ground/Addressing line to your DMX driver terminal.
- Set starting DMX addresses via your hardware programmer or software patch list to assign channel universes correctly.
⚠ Precautions
- Do not exceed a continuous 10-meter single-ended power feed.
- Calculate total power demand and provide at least 20 percent spare driver wattage capacity (load should not exceed 80 percent of power supply rating).
