Application Scenarios
How to Use These Quick Splice Connectors
- Ensure the power supply to your circuit is completely turned off before beginning.
- Insert the unstripped 20-24AWG wires into the guide channels on each side of the connector until they hit the end.
- Using a pair of standard pliers, apply firm and even pressure to the metal contact blade on top of the connector. Press until it is fully seated and flush with the plastic housing.
- Visually inspect the connection through the transparent body to confirm the wires are properly pierced and secured.
- Snap the included transparent protective cap firmly over the metal blade to insulate the connection.
- Gently tug on the wires to ensure a strong mechanical and electrical connection is established. You can now safely restore power.
- For use with low-voltage DC systems (5V-48V) only. DO NOT use with 110V/220V AC household voltage.
- These connectors are rated IP20 and are not waterproof. They must be used in dry, indoor locations.
- The connectors are designed for a one-time use to ensure the most reliable connection. They are not reusable.
