- Gently pry open the white hinged buckle on one end of the connector.
- Carefully slide your 10mm 3-pin LED strip under the metal contact prongs. Ensure the copper pads on the strip align perfectly with the pins inside the connector.
- Press the white buckle down firmly until you hear and feel it click shut. This secures the strip and makes the electrical connection.
- Repeat steps 2-4 for the second LED strip segment on the other end of the connector.
- Restore power and test the connection to ensure your lights are functioning correctly before mounting permanently.
- Verify the polarity alignment (+, Data, GND) between your strips. The wire colors are typically Red for positive voltage, Green for Data, and White for Ground (GND).
- This connector is designed for non-waterproof (IP20) 10mm LED strips. If using a waterproof strip, the protective silicone coating must be carefully removed from the contact area first.
- Not compatible with 2-pin (single color), 4-pin (RGB), 5-pin (RGBW), or 6-pin (RGBCCT) LED strips. This is exclusively for 3-pin strips.
- Also compatible with WS2812B IC Programmable LED Strips that use a 10mm wide PCB.
