Application Scenarios
How to Install This Aluminum Profile
- Carefully bend and shape the aluminum profile to match your desired curve or layout. It's best to do this before installation.
- If needed, cut the profile and diffuser to your required length using a fine-toothed hacksaw or miter saw. Deburr any sharp edges.
- Confirm your LED strip is 8mm wide or less. Peel the adhesive backing from the LED strip and carefully press it into the base of the shaped channel.
- Feed the power wires through the notch in one of the end caps.
- Press the flexible silicone diffuser into the top of the channel, working your way along the curve.
- Fit the end caps onto both ends of the profile.
- Always confirm your LED strip width (≤8mm) is compatible before adhering it to the channel.
- Shape the aluminum profile first, then install the LED strip. Installing the strip before bending can cause damage to the LEDs.
