- Step 1: Ensure you are using a compatible 8mm wide, 2-pin, non-waterproof LED light strip.
- Step 2: Make a clean, straight cut along the designated copper solder pads on the strip.
- Step 3: Gently pry open the white clasp on the connector.
- Step 4: Slide the end of the LED strip into the connector, ensuring the copper pads on the strip are positioned directly underneath the two metal pins inside.
- Step 5: Verify that the '+' and '-' markings on the strip align with the corresponding polarity on the connector.
- Step 6: Press the clasp down firmly until it snaps shut, securing the strip in place.
- Step 7: Repeat the process for the second strip on the other side of the connector.
- Step 8: Give a gentle tug on both strips to confirm they are secure before connecting to power.
- This connector is only compatible with 8mm wide 2-pin strips. It will not work with 5mm, 10mm, or 12mm strips.
