Application Scenarios
How to Use This + Shape Connector
- Ensure your power supply is disconnected before starting.
- Cut your 10mm RGB LED strip neatly along the designated copper cut line.
- Open the white hinged clasp on one arm of the + connector.
- Gently slide the end of the LED strip into the connector, ensuring the four copper pads on the strip sit underneath the four metal pins inside the connector.
- Align the polarity markings on the strip (+12V, G, R, B) with the corresponding paths in the connector.
- Firmly snap the hinged clasp closed. You should feel it click into place, securing the strip.
- Repeat steps 3-6 for the other strip segments you wish to connect.
- Once all strips are connected, reconnect your power supply and test the installation.
- For Waterproof Strips: You must carefully remove the silicone or waterproof coating from the top of the copper contact pads before inserting the strip into the connector.
- This connector is designed exclusively for 10mm wide, 4-pin RGB LED strips. It is not compatible with 2-pin, 3-pin, 5-pin, or 6-pin strips, nor with different PCB widths.
- Ensure correct polarity alignment (+12V to +12V, G to G, etc.) to prevent damage and ensure proper color function.
- This connector is intended for indoor, dry locations only. It is not waterproof.
