Product Information

Introducing the ultimate solution for large-scale, dynamic lighting projects: the 48V UCS7624/UCS7614 Addressable RGBW LED Strip. Engineered specifically to overcome voltage drop, this strip allows for continuous runs of up to 20 meters from a single power connection, drastically simplifying wiring and reducing installation costs. The high-voltage 48V DC input is the core of the strip's long-run capability, allowing current to be transmitted more efficiently over copper traces, maintaining consistent voltage and brightness.

Featuring a high-density, dual-row design with 168 LEDs per meter and dual-signal redundancy, the UCS7624/UCS7614 IC incorporates a backup data line (BI) alongside the primary data line (DI). This redundancy ensures that the failure of any single IC does not affect data transmission to subsequent ICs, dramatically improving the robustness of the entire lighting system.

Our bright addressable RGBW led strip delivers brilliant, reliable performance for professional architectural facades, expansive commercial spaces, and ambitious creative installations where length and reliability are paramount. With 12 individually controllable ICs per meter, you can achieve smooth animations and high-resolution lighting effects, even over vast distances.

48V Long Addressable UCS7624 RGBW LED Strip Details

How do I control and power a 48V Addressable RGBW LED strip light?

To control this 48V addressable RGBW LED strip, you need a pixel controller that is fully compatible with the UCS7624/UCS7614 or UCS2904 RGBW IC protocol. Some standard controllers, such as the SP107E and SP530E, are not compatible with this UCS7624/UCS7614 IC, so please make sure your controller IC library includes this IC model.

If your pixel controller does not support a 48V direct power input, here is how to step-by-step:

1. Powering the Controller: Use a separate, low-voltage small power adapter (such as DC 12V 1A or DC 24V 1A) that matches your controller's input specs to power it on independently.

2. Connecting Signals: Connect only the Data (DAT) output wire and the Negative/Ground (GND/-) wire from the controller to the corresponding ports on the digital 48V LED strip.

3. Powering the LED Strip: Connect the 48V addressable LED strip directly to a dedicated 48V power supply that has sufficient wattage to cover the total length of your strip.

⚠ Precautions

  • This product requires a 48V DC power supply (sold separately). Using any other voltage will damage the strip.
  • This product requires an addressable LED controller compatible with UCS7624/UCS7614 signal protocols (sold separately).
  • Handle the strip carefully, avoiding excessive pulling or stress on the PCB and components.
  • Static electricity can damage the ICs. Use anti-static precautions during installation.

LED Strip Light Guide

Common questions about this type of product, answered against this model’s own options. For full figures see the specification above or the spec sheet for this model.

Which controller does this LED strip light need?
Addressable LED strip lights take a data signal, so they need an SPI (pixel) controller that supports this IC — an ordinary RGB controller will not drive them. Data flows one way: connect the controller to the input end marked with the arrow. Wiring addressable LED strip lights
Do I need power injection?
5 V addressable LED strip lights lose voltage fastest, so longer runs need power fed in at both ends and at intervals along the run; 12 V and 24 V versions carry further. Keep the data line short between controller and first pixel. Choosing an addressable LED strip light
Which waterproof rating should I choose?
Available on this model: IP68 Underwater Use · IP67 Waterproof Outdoor Use · IP20 Bare PCB. IP20 is for dry indoor use, IP65 handles splashes, IP67 suits outdoor and wet areas, IP68 is for continuous submersion. Choosing a waterproof rating
Can I cut it to length?
Yes. Cut only on the marked cut lines between the copper pads — the cut interval for this model is on its spec sheet. Rejoin with solder or a solderless connector. Cutting LED strip lights · we can also cut to length and fit your connector before shipping: custom LED strip light assembly.
What size power supply do I need?
Take the watts per metre from the specification above, multiply by the length you are running, then add about 25% headroom. Power calculation guide · Choosing a power supply
Will it fit an aluminium profile, and how dense are the LEDs?
PCB width 15mm (0.59in). Choose a profile whose inner width is at least the PCB width; denser LEDs give a smoother line close to a diffuser. LED aluminium profiles
