Product Information

SuperLightingLED Near Infrared 810 nm Led Strip Series

Highly efficient solution for 810 nm infrared led applications, the densest of SuperLightingLED's single-row 810nm LED strips, with 240 pieces SMD LED diodes per meter, 73 per foot, and two adjacent SMD2835 beads spaced only 4.17 mm apart, delivering a very continuous and uniform 810 nm light radiation. A reel of 5 meters, 16.4 feet long supports cutting the 810nm strip at the cut line, and the LED intervals containing 6 LEDs per 25 mm can be cut.

810nm red light is invisible as near infrared light. Since the 810-nanometer LED spectrum contains some wavelengths of far-red visible light, you can clearly see that the 810nm 2835 diode has a red light spot, and the 810nm red light glow will be more visible in dark environments.

The low voltage 12 volt or 24 volt power input design makes this 810 nanometers NIR led strip suitable for a variety of red light therapy, sauna therapy, photobiomodulation, and other near infrared wavelength lighting applications in both home and commercial settings. We offer normal 0.2W LED type and more stable 0.5W LED type, the total power consumption is about the same.

The images show what the highest-density 2835 LED 810nm strip (8mm version) looks like.

LED Strip Light Guide

Common questions about this type of product, answered against this model’s own options. For full figures see the specification above or the spec sheet for this model.

What voltage does this LED strip light run on?
This model is offered in 12VDC · 24VDC. Lower voltage means a shorter run per feed: at 12 V feed power roughly every 5 m, at 24 V roughly every 10 m. Longer runs get power injected at both ends. Connecting to the power supply
Which waterproof rating should I choose?
Available on this model: Underwater IP68 - Adhesive Back · Waterproof IP67 - Adhesive Back · Surface Glued IP65 - Adhesive Back · Non-Waterproof IP20 - Adhesive Back. IP20 is for dry indoor use, IP65 handles splashes, IP67 suits outdoor and wet areas, IP68 is for continuous submersion. Choosing a waterproof rating
Can I cut it to length?
Yes. Cut only on the marked cut lines between the copper pads — the cut interval for this model is on its spec sheet. Rejoin with solder or a solderless connector. Connector options on this model: 2-Pin (V+, GND). Cutting LED strip lights · we can also cut to length and fit your connector before shipping: custom LED strip light assembly.
What size power supply do I need?
Take the watts per metre from the specification above, multiply by the length you are running, then add about 25% headroom. Power calculation guide · Choosing a power supply
Will it fit an aluminium profile, and how dense are the LEDs?
PCB width 10mm (0.39in) · 8mm (0.31in) · LED density 240 LEDs/m. Choose a profile whose inner width is at least the PCB width; denser LEDs give a smoother line close to a diffuser. LED aluminium profiles
