How to Wire & Install This Power Supply

  1. Step 1: Verify Compatibility. Ensure your LED lights require a DC 12V constant voltage input. This driver is not compatible with 24V or constant current fixtures.
  2. Step 2: Calculate Your Load. Sum the total wattage of all connected LED lights. For optimal performance and longevity, your total load should not exceed 80% of the driver's capacity (80W for this 100W model).
  3. Step 3: Connect AC Input. ⚠ Turn off mains power before wiring. Connect the live, neutral, and ground wires from your AC source to the corresponding input wires of the driver (typically Black/Brown for Live, White/Blue for Neutral, Green/Yellow for Ground).
  4. Step 4: Connect DC Output. Connect the driver's DC output wires to your 12V LED light strips, ensuring correct polarity: Red wire to Positive (+) and Black wire to Negative (-).
