- CRITICAL: Due to high power (40W/m), do not exceed a 2-3 meter run when powering from a single end. For the full 5m reel, power must be injected from both ends or the center to ensure even brightness.
- Always use a 12V DC power supply with a wattage rating at least 20% higher than the total load of the strip segment.
- Do not bend the strip tighter than its minimum bend radius to avoid damaging the PCB and components.
- Ensure adequate ventilation. Do not operate in a fully enclosed, unventilated space as the strip generates significant heat.
- For outdoor or wet locations, you must use the IP67 or IP68 rated versions and seal all connections appropriately.

Q: What is the maximum continuous length I can run?
A: Due to its very high power draw, the maximum recommended length for a single power feed is 2-3 meters. To use the full 5-meter reel, you must provide power to both ends of the strip (or power from the center) to prevent voltage drop and ensure even brightness.
Q: Can I use this COB LED strip outdoors?
A: Yes, but you must select the IP67 or IP68 waterproof versions. The standard IP20 version is for indoor, dry locations only.
