How to Use This 3-Pin Solderless Connector
- Ensure the power to your LED strip circuit is completely off.
- Gently flip open the white plastic clasp on the connector housing.
- Observe the polarity markings on your 10mm LED strip (e.g., +5V, DIN, GND).
- Carefully slide the end of the LED strip into the connector. Make sure the copper pads on the strip sit directly underneath the metal contact pins inside the connector.
- Firmly snap the hinged clasp shut. You should feel it click securely into place.
- The three bare wire leads are now ready to be connected to the corresponding terminals on your controller or power supply.
- This connector is designed for use with non-waterproof (IP20) LED strips only. It is not suitable for strips with a silicone or epoxy coating.
- Always double-check the alignment of the strip's pads with the connector's pins before closing the clasp.
- Ensure the strip width is exactly 10mm for a secure fit.
- After closing, give a gentle tug on the strip and wires to confirm the connection is firm and reliable.
