Product Information

A higher density 84LEDs/m 5050 DMX 512 RGBW led strip. It adapts 4in1 5050 RGBW multi-color LED as light source, having more color possibilities. The design of 84 LEDs per meter makes this dmx tape light with more even illumination. 

Controlled by smart UCS512H4L IC chip, by connecting to a DMX controller, you are able to program the color effects presented by this high density DMX led strip. There are five channels in total, one positive, one negative, one A dmx signal, one B backup dmx signal, and one P address line.

IP20 and IP65 DMX512 led strips come with adhesive backing, while IP67 and IP68 outdoor waterproof types require the purchase of additional clips for mounting and fixing.

 

There are three types to choose from: 

12mm 84LEDs/m with 7LED cuttable (default); 83.33mm cut segment; 12 pixels per meter; white PCB; 25W/m; 

12mm 84LEDs/m with 6LED cuttable; 71.42mm cut segment; 14 pixels per meter; white PCB; 17W/m; 

10mm 84LEDs/m with 7LED cuttale. 83.33mm cut segment; 12 pixels per meter; white and black PCB; 28W/m;

Which controller does this LED strip light need?
Addressable LED strip lights take a data signal, so they need an SPI (pixel) controller that supports this IC — an ordinary RGB controller will not drive them. Data flows one way: connect the controller to the input end marked with the arrow. Wiring addressable LED strip lights
Do I need power injection?
5 V addressable LED strip lights lose voltage fastest, so longer runs need power fed in at both ends and at intervals along the run; 12 V and 24 V versions carry further. Keep the data line short between controller and first pixel. Choosing an addressable LED strip light

Can I cut it to length?

What size power supply do I need?

Will it fit an aluminium profile, and how dense are the LEDs?
PCB width 10mm (0.39in) · 12mm - 14ICs/m · 12mm (0.47in). Choose a profile whose inner width is at least the PCB width; denser LEDs give a smoother line close to a diffuser. LED aluminium profiles
