How to Install & Use This Fiber Optic Engine
- Select your fiber optic cable bundle and ensure the end is clean and cut flat for maximum light transmission.
- Loosen the set screw on the silver coupling head of the light engine.
- Insert the fiber optic bundle fully into the 14mm diameter coupling head until it is snug against the internal LED.
- Gently tighten the set screw to secure the fibers in place. Do not overtighten, as this can damage the fibers.
- Connect the appropriate AC power cord (US, EU, UK, or AU) to the engine's power input port.
- Plug the engine into a standard wall outlet that accepts AC85-265V.
- Insert one CR2025 battery (not included) into the RF remote control, observing correct polarity.
- Use the remote to power on the light engine and test its functions, cycling through colors and modes to confirm operation.
- ⚠ The light engine itself is not waterproof. It must be installed in a dry, well-ventilated location away from moisture.
- Always disconnect the power supply before installing or servicing the fiber optic cables.
