Installation Guide for the Single-Side Spring Clip
- Carefully measure and cut the appropriate-sized opening for your QSG-5035B in the drywall or ceiling panel.
- Firmly attach the Single-Side Spring Clips onto the designated grooves on the sides of the aluminum channel. For best results, space clips evenly, about every 12-18 inches (30-45 cm).
- Connect your LED strip and install the diffuser cover onto the aluminum channel.
- Press the spring arms of the clips inward and carefully guide the entire profile assembly into the cutout.
- Release the clips. The spring arms will expand behind the mounting surface, pulling the profile's flange tight and flush against the front of the surface.
- Gently tug on the profile to ensure it is held securely in place by the clips.
- Ensure the mounting surface (e.g., drywall, wood panel) is between 3/8" and 5/8" (9mm - 16mm) thick for the clips to grip effectively.
- The number of clips required depends on the length and weight of your total profile installation. We recommend a minimum of two clips per meter.
- Always verify compatibility with your specific aluminum channel model before purchasing.
