How to Install This Aluminum Profile
- Measure the width of your stair tread and cut the aluminum profile to the required length using a fine-toothed saw.
- Peel the adhesive backing from your 10mm LED light strip and press it firmly into the inner channel of the profile.
- Align the PC opal diffuser with the channel grooves and snap it securely into place along the entire length.
- Position the assembled profile on the leading edge of the stair tread and fasten it securely using appropriate screws.
- Press the end caps into each end of the profile to complete the installation and protect the internal components.
- Confirm your LED strip is 10mm or narrower to ensure a proper fit.
- When installing outdoors, use an appropriately IP-rated waterproof LED strip and seal the end caps with silicone for protection against moisture.
