This makes it an ideal solution for both residential and commercial public lighting applications where safety is paramount.
Constructed from durable 6063-T5 aluminum alloy, this profile is built to last. The surface features integrated serrations that provide an effective anti-slip grip, further enhancing safety. Inside, the channel accommodates various types of 12mm wide LED strip lights, while the included PC opal diffuser ensures the light is soft, even, and free from harsh glare. Simple to install with screws, it provides a clean, professional finish to any stairway.

How to Install This LED Stair Profile
- Measure the width of your stair tread and cut the aluminum profile to the desired length using a miter saw with a fine-toothed blade.
- Secure the aluminum profile firmly to the stair using appropriate screws (not included).
- Measure and cut your 12mm LED strip light to the same length as the profile.
- Peel the adhesive backing from the LED strip and press it firmly into the bottom of the channel.
- Connect the LED strip wiring to a compatible low-voltage LED Power Supply. If desired, wire a dimmer between the power supply and the strip.
- Snap the PC opal diffuser into place on the front of the channel.
- Press the end caps onto both ends of the profile for a clean, finished look.
- Always ensure the power is off before cutting or wiring the LED strips.
- For outdoor use, ensure you use an appropriately IP-rated LED strip and seal the end caps with silicone for water resistance.
