How to Use This Screw-In LED Connector
- Step 1: Ensure your power supply is disconnected before starting.
- Step 2: Cut your single color LED strip light cleanly along the designated cut mark.
- Step 3: Use a small Phillips screwdriver to slightly loosen the four screws on the connector. Do not remove them completely.
- Step 4: Slide the cut end of the LED strip into one side of the connector, making sure the copper pads on the strip sit directly under the metal contact tabs.
- Step 5: For 'Strip-to-Strip' connections, repeat Step 4 with the second strip on the other side. For 'Strip-to-Wire' connections, insert the bare ends of your 2-conductor power wire into the other side.
- Step 6: Double-check that the '+' and '-' markings on the strip align correctly with your power wire polarity.
- Step 7: Firmly tighten all four screws to secure the strips and/or wires. Gently tug on them to confirm a solid connection.
