Application Scenarios
How to Install & Use This LED Strip
- Ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or oils.
- Measure and cut the strip at the designated cut marks (every 3 LEDs) if a shorter length is needed.
- If using waterproof connectors, attach them now. Otherwise, carefully solder wires to the copper pads.
- Connect the strip to a compatible DC12V power supply. If you wish to dim the lights, connect a single color dimmer between the power supply and the strip.
- Peel the protective layer off the adhesive backing and firmly press the strip onto the surface. Use the mounting clips for added security, especially in outdoor or overhead installations.
- Turn on the power to test the lights.
- Always use a regulated DC12V power supply with a wattage rating at least 20% higher than the strip's total power consumption (24W).
- Do not bend the strip to a sharp angle, as this can damage the circuit.
- While the strip is waterproof, the connection points and power supply must also be properly protected from moisture if used outdoors.
- For runs longer than 16.4ft, power must be supplied from both ends to avoid voltage drop and ensure even brightness.
