This light strip is an addressable LED strip(built-in SK6805-EC10 IC, familiar to the SK6812 IC) and individually addressable. What is individually addressable? Individually addressable means that each LED light has a bulit-in IC, and each LED light can be controlled individually. You can set the first LED light to blue and the second LED light to red. Different colors and brightness can appear on one light strip, which is not possible with other LED light strips.
The FPCB(flexibale printed circuit board) width of this addressable LED strip is 4mm, easy to hide, does not take up space, and is perfectly suitable for narrow spaces.
The 3M adhesive design makes the LED strip installation more convenient, and the sticking is firm. If you are worried that the light strip will fall, you can use the buckles to fix it, double insurance.

Note: The BLACK ARROWS on the strip tell the transmitting direction of the signal. When running more than one roll of the strip after the Dream Color Controller, the following rolls of Dream Color Strip should be run strictly follow the Arrow point direction. If connected oppositely, the strip will not work.

How to control addressable LED strips?
Controlling the LED color and brightness changes of addressable LED strips requires compatible addressable LED controllers. These addressable light strips are compatible with SPI protocol and can use SPI controller. The SPI controller has built-in multiple programmed control programs, which can realize a variety of control effects(Flowing water, chasing, jumping, etc.). When selecting the SPI controller, pay attention to the pixels and the operating voltage of the light strip. If the pixel of the SPI controller is smaller than the pixel of the addressable LED strip, it will be impossible to control the extra pixel light of the light strip.
How to install LED light strip?
LED controller and power supply are inseparable to enjoy the addressable LED strip. Addressable light strips, SPI controllers and power supply are an integral part of the operation. First, choose the power supply classification according to the voltage, 5V power supply, 12V power supply or 24V power supply. Secondly, the required power supply is obtained according to the power of the light strip. The power of the power supply must be at least 1.2 times the power of the light strip to extend its service life. The longer the light strip, the greater the power consumption and the higher the power wattage. If you have waterproof and rainproof requirements for the power supply, you can directly find the corresponding category to view.
The SPI controller is plug and play. If you need other accessories such as 3-pin light strip extension cord or the LED connector, you can find them in the accessories category.
