How to Use This Solderless Connector

  1. Step 1: Select the correct connector size (8mm or 10mm) to match the PCB width of your LED strip.
  2. Step 2: Gently pry open the transparent cover of the connector.
  3. Step 3: Cut your LED strip cleanly along the designated cutting line.
  4. Step 4: Slide the end of the LED strip into the connector, ensuring the copper pads on the strip align with the metal contact pins inside the connector.
  5. Step 5: Firmly press the cover down until it snaps shut, securing the strip and making the connection.
  6. Step 6: Gently tug on the strip to confirm it is held securely. Connect to power to test the light.
⚠ Precautions
  • Ensure the polarity (+ and -) on both LED strips are aligned correctly before connecting.
  • This connector is for joining two strips. It cannot be used to connect a strip directly to a power supply.
  • The connector itself is not waterproof. If used with IP65 strips in a damp environment, the connection point must be sealed with silicone glue or heat shrink tubing.
