How to Use This COB Strip Connector
- Ensure your power is off. Confirm you are using a 10mm wide, 4-pin, IP20 non-waterproof COB RGB LED strip.
- Gently flip open the transparent cover of the connector.
- Carefully slide the end of the COB LED strip into the connector's slot. Make sure it goes all the way in, underneath the metal contact pins.
- Align the copper pads on the strip with the connector's pins. Match the polarity markings (+, R, G, B) on the strip to the correct pins.
- Press the transparent cover down firmly until you hear and feel it click shut. This action pierces the strip to establish a secure connection.
- If using the pre-wired version, connect the four wires to the appropriate terminals on your RGB controller or power source.
- This connector is designed exclusively for IP20 non-waterproof COB LED strips. It will not work on strips with a silicone or waterproof coating.
- Always double-check that the polarity of the strip aligns with the connector before closing the cover. Incorrect wiring can damage your LEDs.
- Ensure the cover is fully latched to maintain a stable and reliable electrical connection.
