- Power the WL-Box2 gateway using a standard 5V USB adapter and the included Type-C cable.
- Download the 'Tuya Smart' app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and register an account.
- In the app, tap 'Add Device' and select the appropriate gateway or socket (WiFi) category.
- Press and hold the 'RST' button on the WL-Box2 for 5 seconds until the indicator light blinks rapidly, putting it in pairing mode.
- Follow the on-screen prompts in the app to connect the gateway to your 2.4GHz home WiFi network.
- Once the gateway is added, you can link your MiBoxer 2.4GHz RF series lights to it through the app.
- To enable voice control, link your Tuya Smart account within the Amazon Alexa or Google Home app.
- This device requires a 2.4GHz WiFi network and will not connect to 5GHz networks.
- The gateway must remain powered on and connected to your WiFi router to enable smart functionality.
- For best performance, place the gateway in a central location with good signal reception to both your router and the lights it will control.
