We offer this "constant current" 48V led strip for your long run RGBWW light projects. Operating at 48 volts, this 5-in-1 led RGB CCT strip has a longer running length compared to lower voltage strips such as 12V or 24V. With the help of constant current resistors, it reduces the problem of voltage drop. The 48V led strip lighting system provides a more stable current and reduces energy loss in the circuit. This ensures consistent light brightness and color over long running distances.
The 48V RGBWW led strip light produces a wide range of colors and color temperatures, from different white light color temperatures to a variety of color effects for different lighting needs. The higher voltage allows the RGBWW light to run up to 20 meters (65.6ft) and even 30 meters (98.4ft), with power injected on one side. And there is no noticeable color difference throughout the entire strip.
To drive this long 20m (65.6ft) / 30m (98.4ft) RGBCCT 48 volt led lights strip, you need an AC to DC48V power supply or driver and a 48V input RGBWW controller. Currently, our 48V controllers can handle a maximum current of 30 amps. Therefore, the HW5 (WiFi+RF) smart controller in this kit can fully drive a 30-meter-long light strip in the following wiring configuration: AC outlet ~ UHP-1000-48 driver ~ HW5 controller ~ 30-meter RGBWW light strip. The choice of power supply wattage is based on the length of your light strip run.
Please note: Due to limitations in the full silicone encapsulation process, IP68-rated is only achievable for lengths up to 10 meters.
