How to Use This L-Type Corner Connector

  1. First, ensure your LED strip is cut cleanly along a designated cut line.
  2. Carefully peel back about 1/2 inch (1cm) of the top epoxy/silicone coating from the strip to fully expose the four copper contact pads. A small craft knife can be used gently.
  3. Open the white clasp on one side of the L-shaped connector.
  4. Slide the prepared end of the LED strip into the connector, underneath the metal pins. Ensure the copper pads are aligned directly under the pins.
  5. Snap the white clasp down firmly until it clicks shut. This action pierces the strip's backing to make a secure connection.
  6. Repeat steps 3-5 for the second LED strip on the other side of the connector.
  7. Before final mounting, connect to power and test the strips to ensure all colors are working correctly.
⚠ Precautions
  • This connector is specifically for 10mm wide, 4-pin IP65 RGB strips with a top epoxy coating. It is not suitable for IP67/IP68 silicone tube strips or non-waterproof (IP20) strips.
  • Ensure the polarity markings (+, G, R, B) on both strips are aligned correctly through the connector to avoid incorrect color display.
  • The connector itself is not waterproof. The connection point should be sealed with silicone glue or heat shrink tubing if it will be exposed to moisture.
  • Do not apply excessive force when opening or closing the clasps.
