Application Scenarios

Architectural & Commercial Lighting Ideal for projects using high-power constant current downlights, track lights, or linear fixtures that require reliable wireless dimming across large spaces like galleries, retail stores, and offices.
Custom LED Fixture Control The perfect driver for custom-built luminaires and specialized lighting solutions where precise current control is essential for LED longevity, color consistency, and performance.
Multi-Zone Residential Lighting Effortlessly control separate zones of constant current accent lighting, such as in kitchens, living rooms, or home theaters, using a single wireless remote control or wall panel.

How to Control & Use This Controller

  1. Select Output Current: Before wiring, use the DIP switches on the receiver to select the correct constant current output (350mA, 700mA, or 1050mA) to match your LED fixtures' specifications.
  2. Wire Power Input: Connect a compatible 12V to 48V DC power supply to the receiver's 'INPUT' terminals. Ensure correct polarity (+ to +, - to -).
  3. Wire LED Output: Connect your constant current LED fixtures to the 'OUTPUT' terminals (CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4). Verify the polarity is correct for each channel.
  4. Pair with Remote: Follow the instructions for your Ltech LT-BUS remote control or wall panel to pair it with the F4-CC receiver. This typically involves pressing a learning key on the receiver while the remote is in pairing mode.
  5. Test Operation: Once paired, test the dimming and on/off functions for each connected channel to confirm the system is working correctly.
⚠ Precautions
  • Always disconnect power before wiring or changing DIP switch settings.
  • Ensure your power supply has a voltage within the receiver's 12-48Vdc input range.
  • Do not exceed the total maximum power output of 193.2W.
  • This receiver is designed for constant current LED fixtures only. Do not connect it to constant voltage LED strips.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the main difference between the F4-CC and the F4-5A receiver?

A:The F4-CC is a Constant Current (CC) receiver designed for fixtures like spotlights and downlights. The F4-5A is a Constant Voltage (CV) receiver used for products like standard LED strips.

Q: What kind of remote controls are compatible with the F4-CC?

A:This receiver works with any remote control or wall panel from the Ltech LT-BUS ecosystem. Please verify compatibility before purchasing a remote.

Q: Can I control four different single-color LED lights with this one receiver?

A:Yes, if your remote supports multi-zone control, the four channels can be managed independently to control four separate areas or fixtures.

Q: How do I select the output current?

A:The output current (350mA, 700mA, or 1050mA) is set using the physical DIP switches on the side of the unit. This must be done before you connect power.

Q: Is this a DMX receiver?

A:No, the F4-CC uses Ltech's proprietary LT-BUS wireless protocol. For DMX control, please see our F4-DMX-5A receiver or other DMX decoders.

Q: What kind of power supply do I need for this receiver?

A:You need a constant voltage DC power supply with an output between 12V and 48V. Ensure it can provide enough wattage for the total load of all your connected LED fixtures.
