How to Insert an LED Strip Into This Neon Sleeve
- Select a compatible LED strip with a PCB width of 12mm or less. Ensure its voltage and color type match your project requirements.
- Cut the silicone sleeve to your desired length. Use a sharp utility knife for a clean, straight cut.
- Attach a thin, strong string or guide wire to the end of your LED strip using tape. This will act as a pulling lead.
- Feed the string through the silicone sleeve from one end to the other. Gently pull the string, guiding the LED strip into the channel. Keep the strip flat to prevent twisting.
- Once the strip is in position, trim any excess. Install end caps, using a neutral silicone adhesive to seal both ends completely for IP67 water resistance.
- Do not bend the diffuser tighter than its specified minimum bend radius to avoid damaging the silicone or the internal LED strip.
- Always confirm your LED strip's width before purchase. A strip wider than 12mm will not fit inside the channel.
- For outdoor or wet location installations, sealing both ends with silicone adhesive is mandatory to maintain the IP67 rating.
- The LED strip, power supply, controller, and mounting accessories are sold separately.
