We offer this RGB LED pixel tape, featuring high-density LED chips and high-quality UCS 1903 IC chips. 84 pieces of 5050 SMDs are mounted on this RGB colour changing LED strip across each meter, for a brighter and more colorful light. 1903 IC is externally mounted, with a density of 28 ICs per meter. Each IC controls 3 SMDs.

UCS1903 and WS811 ICs are similar in function, but the former is more stable in performance. You can use a Wi-Fi controller to control different color effects on your phone. If you want easy programming, we recommend WLED ESP8266 and ESP32 RGB LED strip controller.

There are 3 Pinpoints on the LED full color 1903 high density addressable LED strip, with single signal transmission. The 5050 RGB strip needs a 12V power supply, and the brightness maintains the same within a distance of 6 meters (19.6ft) (powered from one end). If you want a longer strip light, you can solder wires or use a connector. This 1903 LED strip is cuttable every 35.7mm (1.4in). Scissors are needed to shorten the length by cutting along a straight line in the middle of Pinpoints.

The width of these dense LED light strips is 10mm (0.39in), with an adhesive backing. You can peel off the backing and stick the strip to where you want to provide dream color illumination. For more even, spotless line lighting, you can mount this digital RGB LED strip into an aluminum channel, or consider an RGB COB LED strip.

Which controller does this LED strip light need?

Addressable LED strip lights take a data signal, so they need an SPI (pixel) controller that supports this IC — an ordinary RGB controller will not drive them. Data flows one way: connect the controller to the input end marked with the arrow. Wiring addressable LED strip lights

Do I need power injection?

This model runs on DC24V · DC12V. 5 V addressable LED strip lights lose voltage fastest, so longer runs need power fed in at both ends and at intervals along the run; 12 V and 24 V versions carry further.
