When your project exceeds the power capacity of your primary controller or involves long LED strip runs susceptible to voltage drop, the LT-3010-8A acts as a crucial signal and power booster. It receives the PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) signal from your controller and regenerates it with fresh power from a secondary power supply. This ensures all sections of your lighting maintain uniform brightness and respond perfectly to dimming and color commands, preserving signal integrity across your entire system. With a robust 8A output, it's the ideal solution for expanding single-color, CCT, or RGB lighting systems without compromise.

How to Control & Use This Repeater

  1. Ensure all power is disconnected before beginning installation.
  2. Connect the PWM signal output from your main LED controller to the 'Signal INPUT' terminals on the repeater.
  3. Connect a secondary DC 12V or 24V power supply to the 'Power INPUT' V+ and V- terminals. The voltage must match your LED strips.
  4. Connect the additional LED strips you wish to power to the 'OUTPUT' V+ and V- terminals on the repeater.
  5. Double-check that all connections are secure and that polarity (+ to +, - to -) is correct for all power and signal lines at each power terminal.
  6. Restore power to the main controller and the secondary power supply. Test the system to confirm that all strips dim and change color in sync.
⚠ Precautions
  • Always use a power supply with a voltage that matches your LED strips (12V or 24V).
  • Do not exceed the maximum load of 8A for the repeater. If your load is higher, use multiple repeaters.
  • This is a Constant Voltage (CV) repeater. Do not use it with Constant Current (CC) LED products.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the repeater to prevent overheating.
