What does WWA mean in LED lights?

WWA = White + Warm White + Amber. WWA means that this led strip lighting is a white light color, and each LED is a 2in1 CCT LED with two color temperatures, soft white 1800K/3000K light and 6000K pure white light are in one SMD LED. Addressable WWA led strip can control the LED light change through ICs, display dynamic white light effects.

This WS2818 led light strip is a unique addressable CCT white color (display white light from warm 3000K to cool 6000K, no amber light!). The whole strip can display different white color temperatures and various white light effects. WS2818 addressable IC chip has two signal transmission channels, when one LED loses its work, others LEDs still run. If you need 1800K-2000K amber light, please check this product.

Which controller does this LED strip light need?

Addressable LED strip lights take a data signal, so they need an SPI (pixel) controller that supports this IC — an ordinary RGB controller will not drive them. Data flows one way: connect the controller to the input end marked with the arrow. Wiring addressable LED strip lights

Do I need power injection?

5 V addressable LED strip lights lose voltage fastest, so longer runs need power fed in at both ends and at intervals along the run; 12 V and 24 V versions carry further. Keep the data line short between controller and first pixel. Choosing an addressable LED strip light
