This is a IP65 waterproof 7mm narrow addressable RGB COB led strip. With an external addressable WS2811 pixel controller, it allows for multiple colors: red, green, blue, yellow, purple, ice blue and white 7 static light colors and various dynamic modes. If controlled by a programmable or DMX artnet led light controller, the lighting effects are even more varied.
One WS2811 IC controls the color and brightness of each 27.77 mm / 1.1" length of the LED COB strip. Each IC area can be controlled individually. This COB light strip has 36 ICs per meter.
The COB addressable led strip uses chip on board technology to achieve a large luminous angle of 180° and a narrow PCB width of 7 mm / 0.28". 648 LED chips are integrated in one meter of strip length with high brightness.
The flexibility of COB led strips is stronger than SMD led strip lights. The 3M tape backing makes its installation quite easy. You can stick it as you like, it is very sticky and does not fall off.
Both ends of the RGB cob led light strip come with a 3-pin JST connector and a separate 2-pin power cable for quick connection and power injection (to reduce voltage drop and avoid LED color and light brightness changes when running long distances). It's powered by a 12 volt power supply.
