Product Information
Effortlessly create complex and symmetrical lighting designs with the 1-to-2 JST Signal Splitter Cable. This essential accessory is designed for builders and DIY enthusiasts working with addressable LED strips. It takes a single signal input from your controller and splits it into two identical outputs, allowing you to run two separate strips in parallel from one source. This is perfect for creating 'Y' shaped layouts, backlighting monitors from a central point, or building elaborate, branching designs for displays or holiday lighting.
Available in both 3-pin and 4-pin configurations, this led light splitter ensures broad compatibility with the most popular digital LED strips on the market, including WS2811, WS2812B, WS2813, and WS2815. The secure, plug-and-play JST-SM connectors make installation quick and reliable, eliminating the need for soldering.
Key Features
Dual Signal Splitting
Splits one input signal into two identical, parallel outputs, enabling you to run two LED strips from a single controller port.
3-Pin & 4-Pin Options
Choose the 3-pin version for single-data strips (WS2812B) or the 4-pin version for strips with a backup data line (WS2813, WS2815).
Plug-and-Play JST-SM Connectors
Features industry-standard JST-SM connectors for a secure, solder-free connection to your strips and controller.

Application Scenarios
How to Use This Signal Splitter
- First, verify the pin count of your addressable LED strips and select the matching 3-pin or 4-pin splitter.
- Connect the single JST connector of the splitter cable to the signal output of your addressable LED controller or the end of a preceding LED strip.
- Connect each of the two JST connectors to the signal input of the two separate LED strips you wish to run in parallel.
- Ensure the polarity markings (often arrows) on the connectors are aligned to guarantee correct data flow and power connection.
- Power on your system. Both connected strips will now receive and display the same data signal from the source.

- This accessory is a signal splitter, not a power amplifier. For very long cable runs, signal degradation may occur. Consider a signal amplifier for extensive layouts.
- The total power consumption of both connected strips must not exceed the capacity of your power supply.
- This product is designed for indoor use and is not waterproof.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does this splitter increase the number of LEDs my controller can support?
A:No. The data is simply mirrored to both outputs. The total number of LEDs across both connected strips counts towards your controller's maximum pixel limit.
Q: Can I connect multiple splitters in a series?
A:While it might work for very short runs, daisy-chaining splitters is not recommended as it can cause significant signal degradation and voltage drop, leading to flickering or incorrect colors.
Q: What if my LED strip doesn't have a JST connector?
A:This splitter uses standard JST-SM connectors. If your strip has bare wires or a different connector type, you will need to either solder a matching JST connector to your strip or splice the wires directly.
