Application Scenarios
How to Use This COB Strip Connector
- Ensure all power to the LED strip is disconnected before installation.
- Carefully slide the end of your 12mm COB RGBCCT LED strip into the connector. Ensure the strip is fully seated and the 6 copper pads on the strip align with the 6 metal pins inside.
- Using a pair of pliers, apply firm and even pressure across the metal contacts on the connector. The pins will pierce through the strip's PCB, securing the connection.
- Repeat the process for the second strip end.
- Once both sides are secured, you can reconnect power and test your lighting connection.
- This connector is designed exclusively for 12mm wide, 6-pin COB RGBCCT LED strips. It is not compatible with SMD strips or other widths/pin counts.
- A firm press with pliers is essential. An incomplete connection may result in flickering or non-functioning color channels.
- Verify the polarity and channel alignment of the strips before clamping the connector to ensure correct color output.
- This is an IP20 rated connector intended for use in dry, indoor environments only.
