How to Use This Connector
- Ensure the power to your LED strip is completely turned off before installation.
- Select the correct connector size (8mm or 10mm) to match the PCB width of your CCT LED strip.
- Gently open the white plastic clasp on one end of the connector.
- Slide the end of your LED strip into the connector, making sure the copper pads on the strip are underneath the metal contact pins inside the connector.
- Ensure the polarity and channels align correctly. Match the red wire to the positive (+) marking, the white wire to the cool white (CW) pad, and the yellow wire to the warm white (WW) pad on your strip.
- Firmly snap the clasp closed. You should feel it click into place.
- Repeat steps 3-6 for the other LED strip segment on the opposite end of the connector.
- This connector is designed exclusively for 3-pin CCT (tunable white) LED strips. It is not compatible with 2-pin single color, 4-pin RGB, or other strip types.
- Verify that your LED strip's PCB width matches the connector size you ordered.
- This connector is not waterproof. For outdoor or damp applications, proper waterproofing measures are required.
- The flexible cable is for gentle curves. For sharp 90-degree turns, a dedicated L-shape solderless Corner Connector is recommended.
