12V WS2815 LED strip light features a 6mm or 5.5mm wide PCB board, specially designed for customers who need narrow digital RGB LED strip with WS2815 IC. 5050SMD 60LEDs/m mounted on the circuit board, providing high bright illumination experience with great light efficiency. Line sequence of 6mm WS2815 is RGB, of 5.5mm WS2815 is GRB. For other line sequence, it need quantities.

Typically, the width of WS2815 LED pixel strip is 10mm or 12mm, but this 2815 6mm 5050 LED strip light has been produced with a width reduced by almost a half, without any change in performance. WS2815 is built in each 5050 LED chip, making isolated color and brightness control possible. Using a controller, you can easily manipulate different flows of light to achieve various illumination effects. This thin addressable RGB LED strip also supports dual data transmission, so when one LED is damaged, the other LEDs will continue to work, ensuring overall lighting. Cutting section is 16.7mm/0.65” (every single LED can be cut), and 3m adhesive backing allows simple installation within a few minutes.

Which controller does this LED strip light need?

Addressable LED strip lights take a data signal, so they need an SPI (pixel) controller that supports this IC — an ordinary RGB controller will not drive them. Data flows one way: connect the controller to the input end marked with the arrow. Wiring addressable LED strip lights

Do I need power injection?
