How to Control & Use This Controller
- 1. Wiring: De-energize your power supply. Connect the 12-24V DC power supply to the receiver's 'INPUT' V- and V+ terminals. Connect your RGBW LED strip to the 'OUTPUT' V+, R, G, B, and W terminals, ensuring correct polarity.
- 2. Pairing the Remote: Power on the receiver. Short press the 'Match' key on the V4 receiver. Immediately press an on/off key or zone key on the R8-1 remote. The connected LED strip will flash to confirm successful pairing.
- 3. Operation: Use the R8-1 remote's color wheel to select static colors, use the brightness keys to dim, and use the mode keys to cycle through the 10 built-in dynamic effects.
- 4. Un-pairing: To delete a pairing, press and hold the 'Match' key on the receiver for 5 seconds until the connected LED light flashes, indicating all paired remotes have been removed.
- Ensure your power supply voltage (12V or 24V) exactly matches the voltage requirement of your LED strip.
- Do not exceed the maximum load of 5A per channel or a total of 20A for the entire receiver.
- Double-check all wiring connections for correct polarity before applying power to prevent damage.
- Install the receiver in a dry, well-ventilated location away from direct heat sources.
