How to Use This Solderless Connector
- Ensure the power to your LED strip is turned off before starting.
- Select the connector size (10mm or 12mm) that matches the PCB width of your LED strip.
- Gently open the white clasp on the connector.
- Slide the end of your non-waterproof LED strip into the connector, making sure the copper contact pads on the strip are positioned directly underneath the connector's metal pins.
- Verify the polarity alignment. Ensure the '+' mark on the strip aligns with the '+' side of the connector, and the R, G, B, and W channels match up accordingly.
- Firmly press the clasp down until you hear it click shut. This secures the strip and makes the electrical connection.
- Gently tug on the strip to confirm it is held securely in place before restoring power to test the connection.
- This connector is designed for non-waterproof LED strips only. It will not work with strips that have a silicone or polyurethane coating.
- This is a straight connector and does not bend. For sharp turns, an L-shape connector is required.
