How to Use This Solderless Connector
- Step 1: Turn off all power to your lighting system before installation.
- Step 2: Open the white hinged clasp on the top of the connector.
- Step 3: Carefully slide your 12mm RGB+CCT LED strip into the connector, ensuring the six copper pads on the strip align directly under the six metal pins inside the connector.
- Step 4: Press the clasp down firmly until you hear it click shut. This action pierces the strip's contacts to create a secure connection.
- Step 5: Connect the six color-coded wires from the 13cm cable to the corresponding screw terminals on your RGB+CCT controller (e.g., R, G, B, WW, CW, V+).
- Step 6: Restore power to your system and test all colors and functions to confirm a successful connection.
- This connector is designed ONLY for 12mm wide, 6-pin RGB+CCT LED strips. It will not work with other widths or pin configurations.
- Ensure the polarity and wire order match between the strip, the connector, and your controller. Incorrect wiring can prevent the strip from lighting up correctly.
