- Prepare the connection points on your LED strip or other cable by adding a small amount of solder (tinning).
- Solder each wire to its corresponding pad on the LED strip (e.g., V+ to V+, R to R, G to G, B to B, WW to WW, CW to CW). Double-check the order as it can vary between strip models.
- For a secure and insulated connection, slide a piece of heat-shrink tubing over each wire before soldering, then heat it to shrink it over the completed joint.
- Always confirm the pinout of your specific RGB+CCT LED strips before soldering to ensure correct wiring.
- This cable is for low-voltage DC applications only. Do not use with line-voltage AC power.
- For extensions longer than a few meters, be mindful of potential voltage drop, which can cause color shifts or dimming. Using the thicker 20AWG wire helps mitigate this effect.
