Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between the LT422, LT623, LT633, and LT933 models?
A:The model numbers indicate the input and output configuration. For example, LT422 is '2-in-4-out', LT623 is '2-in-6-out', LT633 is '3-in-6-out', and LT933 is '3-in-9-out', allowing you to choose the best splitter for your needs.
Q: Can I use these connectors with both solid and stranded wires?
A:Yes, these connectors are designed to work securely with both solid-core and stranded copper wires within the 28-12 AWG range.
Q: Are these lever-style connectors reusable?
A:Absolutely. Simply lift the lever to release the wire. This makes them perfect for temporary setups, prototyping, or projects that may require future modifications.
Q: Do I need any special tools for installation?
A:No, aside from a standard wire stripper, these connectors are completely tool-free. The push-in and clamp-down mechanism is operated by hand.
Q: Are these electrical splice connectors waterproof?
A:No, these connectors are not waterproof and are designed for use in dry, indoor locations. For outdoor or wet applications, they must be placed inside a certified waterproof junction box.
Q: How do these compare to traditional wire nuts?
