Product Information

The Ltech F4-3A is a professional-grade wireless receiver designed for seamless control of constant voltage LED lighting. As a key component of the LT-BUS control system, this 4-channel receiver acts as a reliable wireless light switch receiver, translating signals from a compatible remote into smooth dimming and color changes for your lights. Operating on a stable 2.4GHz frequency, it provides responsive control over a long range, making it an ideal choice for multi-zone residential and commercial projects. Its wide DC 5-24V input range and 3A per channel output offer excellent flexibility for powering various types of 4-channel LED strips, from RGBW to multiple runs of single-color strips.

Key Features

4-Channel PWM Control

Provides versatile control for RGBW, RGBA, or up to four independent zones of single-color LED strips.

Wide Voltage Compatibility

Operates on any DC voltage from 5V to 24V, making it compatible with a vast range of LED lighting products.

Stable 2.4GHz RF Signal

Ensures reliable, interference-free communication with a compatible remote control from up to 50 meters away (line-of-sight).

Robust Power Handling

Safely manages a continuous load of 3A per channel, with a total maximum capacity of 12A across all four channels.

Slim, Compact Profile

Its slender design (125x33x20mm) allows for easy installation and concealment in tight spaces like cabinets, coves, and furniture.

LT-BUS System Integration

Designed to pair flawlessly with a wide variety of Ltech F-series and Q-series remote controls for intuitive operation.

Technical Highlights

  • Utilizes an advanced 2.4GHz wireless protocol for fast response and strong anti-interference capability.
  • Employs Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) for smooth, flicker-free dimming across the entire brightness range.
  • Constant voltage output design ensures consistent performance with standard non-addressable LED strips.
  • Features a power-off memory function that restores the last used setting when power is returned.

Application Scenarios

Multi-Zone Residential Lighting Effortlessly manage lighting in different areas of your home. Use one remote to control under-cabinet kitchen lights, cove lighting in the living room, and accent lighting in the bedroom, all running through separate F4-3A receivers.
Commercial and Retail Displays Create dynamic and inviting atmospheres in retail stores, showrooms, and display cases. The reliable wireless control allows for easy updates to lighting scenes to highlight products or match seasonal promotions using RGBW LED strips.
Architectural and Hospitality Lighting Implement sophisticated, wirelessly controlled lighting in bars, restaurants, hotel lobbies, and building facades. The F4-3A simplifies installation by reducing the need for long, complex control wiring runs.

How to Control & Use This Controller

  1. Connect Power Supply: Securely wire the output from your DC 5-24V power supply to the 'INPUT' screw terminals on the receiver. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
  2. Connect LED Strips: Connect the common anode (V+) wire and the four channel wires (e.g., R, G, B, W) from your LED strip to the corresponding 'OUTPUT' terminals (V+, CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4).
  3. Pair with Remote: Follow the pairing instructions for your compatible Ltech remote control (sold separately). This typically involves pressing a 'Learning Key' on the F4-3A receiver while sending a signal from the remote.
  4. Test Functionality: Once paired, use the remote to test all functions, including on/off, dimming, and color changing, to confirm a successful connection.
⚠ Precautions
  • Always use a power supply with a voltage that matches your LED strips (e.g., a 12V power supply for 12V strips).
  • Do not exceed the maximum load of 3A per channel or 12A total for the receiver. For larger loads, use a power amplifier.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the receiver to dissipate heat during operation.
  • The 50m remote distance is rated for open, line-of-sight conditions. Walls, furniture, and other obstructions will reduce the effective wireless range.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What remote controls are compatible with the F4-3A receiver?

A:The F4-3A is designed to work with Ltech's F-series and Q-series 2.4GHz RF remote controls and touch panels. Please check the remote's specifications for compatibility.

Q: Can I control four separate white LED strips with this one receiver?

A:Yes, you can connect four independent single-color LED strips and control each one on a separate channel using a compatible multi-zone remote.

Q: What is the main difference between the F4-3A and the F4-5A model?

A:The primary difference is the current capacity. The F4-3A handles up to 3 Amps per channel, while the sibling F4-5A model supports a higher load of 5 Amps per channel.

Q: Does this receiver use WiFi or Bluetooth?

A:No, it operates on a dedicated 2.4GHz Radio Frequency (RF) signal. This provides a direct, stable connection to the remote without relying on a WiFi network or Bluetooth pairing.

Q: Do I need a separate power supply for the receiver itself?

A:No, the receiver is powered by the same DC 5-24V power supply that you use for your LED strips, which connects to its input terminals.

Q: Is this receiver suitable for addressable or 'pixel' LED strips?

A:No, this is a constant voltage PWM receiver for standard 4-channel LED strips like RGBW. It does not output the data signal required for addressable ICs like WS2811 or SK6812.
