Frequently Asked Questions

Q: My led remote control is not working. What should I check?

A:First, check the CR2032 battery and replace it if it's low. Second, ensure you are within the 20m (65ft) range. Lastly, re-pair the remote to the receiver by following the steps in the usage guide, as the connection may have been lost.

Q: How many receivers can I pair to a single zone on the F8 remote?

A:You can pair a virtually unlimited number of F4-series receivers to a single zone. All receivers paired to that zone will respond simultaneously to the remote's commands.

Q: What is the difference between this F8 remote and the F4 model?

A:Both remotes control 4 zones of RGBW lighting. The primary difference is the physical design and button layout. The F8 offers an alternative ergonomic style for users who prefer its specific layout.

Q: Can this remote control RGB or single-color LED strips?

A:This remote is specifically designed for 4-channel RGBW fixtures. For optimal performance with other light types, we recommend using the corresponding Ltech remote: F7 for RGB, F6 for CCT, or F5 for single color.

Q: Is this remote compatible with other brands of LED controllers?

A:No, the F8 remote is designed to work exclusively within the Ltech wireless ecosystem and is only guaranteed to be compatible with Ltech F4-3A, F4-5A, and F4-CC wireless drivers.
